yessss. this weekend my dad and i are driving 7 hours to go pick up my new dog!!! its an early 16th birthday present. i have been asking my parents for YEARS if i can get a dog, and finally my riding trainer called and told us his friend has a dog that she needed to give away, because she couldn't have any more dogs.
sooo my new dog is a 6 year odl norfolk terrier named Woody. pictures to come later.
speaking of my riding trainer...now time for the updates
i switched to a new (and better) barn 2 months ago, and its amazing. great trainer, great barn, i've been riding alot of really nice horses for my trainer in addition to doppler. my old trainer was an ass to put it crudely, so i am so glad to be gone.
and speaking of the horses...
doppler is in a love hate relationship with this new barn. he is getting to spend hours a day grazing in a grass pasture, but, conversely, he is now being asked to work in a frame all the time, but he is simply amazing in the ring now that he is getting some really hard core training.
scooter. okay, im pathetic. i cannot sell this horse. i simply love him far too much. i semiretired him to a barn where he is living in a nice pasture with 10 other horses, and he is second in the pecking order, a position that he forced himself into in about the first week. now im doing a little bit of western work with him, because i discovered that he really enjoys it, so hell, hes done showing, he might as well do what he really likes. now i just have to convince my parents to never sell him. ever.
byee for now
